Battery Stack for Stationary Applications

What is being displayed?
A stack consisting of several interconnected battery cells

How does the exhibit work?
The stack acts as a battery storage device for stationary applications.

What are the unique features?

The storage device is based on a aqueous cell chemistry.

The device is inherently safe.

In accordance with the objective target (non-mobile applications) the focus for the device has not been set on maximizing the energy density but to rather optimize the TCO (total costs of ownership)

Only abundant and cheap materials are beeing used.

The architecture is flexible and can be tailored for application specific requirements (e.g. high power)

What development state is the exhibit at?
Prototype

What are the target groups?

suppliers of battery storage systems for stationary applications, e.g. PV storage

companies who are already offering storage systems that are based on Li-ion or Lead-acid technologies

Does our institute offer services in connection with the exhibit?

Consultancy for the dimensioning of electrochemical storage systems

Test and certification of electrochemical storage devices and systems
